The ball is desired is broadside, 20 yards away. You are fully open, trying to anchor and objective. I can count on the left hand of Captain Hook number of things that excite me more than this time. But nothing will turn that emotion in faster than the release of the arrow anxiety and not knowing exactly where. And the same thing happens to every hunter with bow in the forest at some point in time.
But there are signs to watch after the shot. The initial reaction of the deer, the appearance of the arrow, and the trail of blood quality are important to consider not only when the deer is hit, but the time to wait before taking the trail. The key to finding any animal is not an exact science. You've waited months to get in a tree stand, spent hours shooting his bow, hours of exploration, hours sitting in a booth, hours dreaming of hitting a large ball. Here are my simple rules.
I hope this helps. Just remember dead deer do not escape to give them time.

Q & A 02-10-2010, 23:45 Hello, I just returned from a park - what a beautiful morning, there are people (8 am) kept me away from the path flying my electric sailboat - high in the sky, happy as Larry - until the truck a guard stopped nearby and the guardian said "... we do not want to see paragliders flying here - go to the dance landing pattern." I just kicked out of the park. OK, I always obey the authorities, packed up and went to the park - very sad, I have to go now. But thinking about the decision to ban flying model airplanes in the parks - what about children who want to fly their models in their spare time - that may join street gangs place or play computer games - well done Parks Victoria in Australia! Zdenek Busek Melbourne dbcisco 02-10-2010, 23:51 Different places have different laws. If it is a public park is involved. A democracy is only as good as the people involved in it. Make sure that the rules for the park are available and if you really ban RC vehicles. Often the "authorities" to compensate the laws on the fly. cisc0box 02-10-2010 23:59 Get a lot of people to sign a petition stating they prefer to allow people to fly kites and RC models in their parks they join gangs or stay indoors watching television all day. Send the request to local authorities. vonveska 02-11-2010, 12:00 am Thank dbcisco response, it is a public park, there is no sign of flying model airplanes, I checked the website regarding this particular park and there is no mention about flying model airplanes ... I sent a message - I wonder what say. vonveska 02-11-2010 12:02 a.m. Get a lot of people to sign a petition stating they prefer to allow people to fly kites and RC models in their parks they join gangs or stay indoors watching television all day. Sometimes, local issues pulls a pair of handling public things like a dictatorship. Involved or lose their freedoms and rights. local politics is the easiest to get involved in and often the most personally relevant. "I never attach anything to the malice or dishonesty which may be explained by ignorance. However, when someone is well educated ....." glacier girl 02-11-2010 12:27 a.m. What about their problems, which happens all the time around here too. Even the club airfields are not immune to this sort of thing. The field is built and everything is happy for many years. Then the area around it was developed and new neighbors begin to complain of real and imaginary things, and soon the club loses its field. The same applies to what others on collecting signatures on a petition and goes before the board or council Park. Show of force in meetings help too. If many people show that will hold more power then just one or two. Also talk to some of the local entrepreneurs about the lack of places to make your hobby and such. Local skaters here's what he did, and got a skate park 2 million dollars out of it. dbcisco 02-11-2010 12:34 a.m. .... Also talk to some of the local entrepreneurs about the lack of places to make your hobby and such .... GET hobby shops in the area and clubs involved. Even rCERs flightless probably not be interested because they could be "forbidden" too. TM4197 02-11-2010, 2:11 a.m. All this is good advice for you. I live around the National battle fields, and they have no problems as long flight models as they are not gas powered. Gliders have been welcome. I would check your local municipality, either mayor or city councilor, if a county park, then the county commissioner. Ask to see the regulation. Your taxes are paying for it. If all else fails, I have never chased me out a ball diamond school football field. Good luck..don't give up! cisc0box 02-11-2010, 2:26 a.m. Things like this makes me crazy ... People complain about children who spend all their time in front of television sets or video .... complain they're getting "fat" and "lazy". However, the same people want to essentially ban all outdoor activity. Do not skate boarding, no skates, no kites, no ship rc. What the hell do you want these kids to do out exactly? UH! Hell ... The RC hobby is a perfect opportunity to get kids out in the sun and enjoy the outdoors. They can go to pursue my plane when it breaks for exercise. : Q vonveska 02-11-2010, 2:50 a.m. Things like this makes me crazy ... And everyody (except persons Park Victoria dependents) knows building and flying model airplanes is good for kids (I spent 14 years teaching children) and I know how many children are on the street because they have nothing else to do they get bored, there is no one to guide them in their lives and if they find an interest in something useful, which departed from him. Early in the morning no one there until he created me. A guy came up and said I could not fly the plane as it bother neighboring houses, which imports that were 3 to 400 feet away. And improve electric fly. Anyway I asked who are you? and he said he was community policing. Well someone came with your dog and let it run in the big baseball field. And I said well what about that person. Which means that the dog will shitting in the field and you clean it. He said they are allowed to run their dogs. I threw myself to the face, but they did not pick up the poop. He said they do and said lets wait and see. of course you have there car and left. Poo in the field. So I told him that I did not see any sign. And it is after 8 am and im flight. He called the police who came and laughed at him saying there was nothing they could do. Get firms like the others said maybe that will help. cisc0box 02-11-2010, 3:40 a.m. I have the perfect flight zone ... good sized park that has a mile of track and even a disc golf course in the distance. Lots of open space and practically made for this hobby. I brought the Sky Hawk there a few days ago, but my elevator had poorly controlled so that the test was unsuccessful (I did not bring my tools ... and has been snowing since). Anywhoo ... the people who were there loved it I brought a plane and did not mind at all. One of the ladies walking around the track even said "Hope to see you again." Not many people fly planes or helis here for that kind of think it's good when they see people. I'll take aerial pictures of the park and put it online for locals to see. Who does not love aerial images? I went to the local park in my old town and asked them look good if I could fly my RC plane I'm not quite sure I had the plane with me showed it was electric noiselessly and wanted to fly, only later when no one was around, it was flat said he did not go to the local club said .... well, I am a member of the local club and AMA, said well why do you want to fly here, said his 5 minutes of my club is 45 minutes of me she said oh well. .... I went back and test flew my plane (which was new) that night there was no one and no one could see makes me fly by the lights for a quick test flight, I did not fly there again. about 5 years later they heard one of the boys in another club flew there very SAT and morning sun, you told Nobody escaped? he did not say why he had explained what happened to me. so now I'm like oh well I'll fly wherever I go until I escaped, not ask and I can not say no, my father always says "Your esier to ask forgiveness then permission" I know of a local park there are about 10 types that fly there, a few members of this site so far so good, but most places here do not want to fly. I see some schoolyards would be perfect for flying, but I figured a cop comes at the time I got in the air. where I live now we're lucky we have permission to fly in the church (about a football feild house), if nothing happens of course Sunday wedsdays are out of the question. reg FEILD and only 7 miles. it really sucks that do not allow people to fly parks and schoolyards could get kids off the streets and in the hobbby if you were exposed to it. but some make a bad reputation. of us all. aircraft flying 80 mph when a ball game going on (yes I've seen videos) is stupid. dbcisco 02-11-2010, 3:57 a.m. As a last resort, I ask the "authorities" to show, in paper form, the law or act prohibiting what I'm doing.
